Your privacy is important. This policy outlines my use of Personal Data and explains the use of cookies as you browse this website under the General Data Protection Regulation and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.
Privacy information
I do not electronically harvest or sell Personal Data to third parties. I collect Personal Data where it is given to me by the individuals themselves with informed consent. If you decide to contact me by phone, email, via a web form or by a subscription, I will store and retain the information you choose to provide to me, including Personal Data. I will not share Personal Data with any third parties without your clear consent or where it is required of me for a legitimate purpose, such as with an insurer.
Generally, the classes of Personal Data I hold about you will be your contact details, Sensitive Personal Data about your recent and current health and the treatments you receive from me. I may also hold other unspecified information about you if you have chosen to tell me about it or the information is publicly available.
My use of your Personal Data will always have a lawful basis. Generally, that will be because (i) it is necessary for me to comply with my contractual and professional obligations to you; (ii) you have consented to my use of your Personal Data; and / or (iii) it is within my legitimate interests.
Specifically, I may use your Personal Data for any of the following purposes:
Supplying my services to you;
Responding to your enquiries and developing and maintaining a therapy relationship with you;
Providing and managing your access to and experience on my website;
Supplying you with emails, sharing news, publications or other materials in respect of which you have actively opted-in;
Gathering feedback on any of my services which are under development; and
Marketing and sales purposes, which may include contacting you by telephone, post and/or email with information, news, invitations or requests.
Your rights
All Personal Data is processed and stored securely for no longer than is necessary, consistent with the reason(s) for which it was first collected.
As well as the right to understand how your Personal Data will be collected and used, you have legal rights to:
See the Personal Data I hold about you;
Require any incorrect information to be corrected;
Require any or all information about you to be deleted (the right to be forgotten), subject to my legitimate interests in holding such information as is necessary for professional, insurance and legal reasons;
Object to my use of your Personal Data under the legitimate interest basis and for direct marketing;
Restrict or suppress my use of your Personal Data under certain circumstances;
Unsubscribe from or opt out of any previous consent you have given to me.
If you wish to make a request, object, or give an instruction about the Personal Data I hold about you, please email info@massagesbyamy.com, headed Data Request, Data Objection or Data Instruction, which will be dealt with promptly. I will respond using the same email address from which the Data Request, Objection or Instruction was sent, so I recommend that you use a private email platform. Any Personal Data sent to you in response to a Data Request will not be encrypted.
I will never disclose Personal Data over the phone. If the type of information you are requesting warrants it, I will only send it by email if I am satisfied as to your identity. Therefore, I may ask you to give me proof of your identity (such as a utility bill or passport image which I will delete after use).
